Job Summary: A Healthcare Administrator plays a critical role in managing the operations of a healthcare facility. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions, ensuring efficient operation of the healthcare services, compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  2. Staff Management: Supervise administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  3. Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage the budget, oversee billing processes, and ensure financial stability of the facility.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality improvement programs to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  6. Policy Development: Develop and update policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  7. Patient Services Coordination: Coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met with high-quality care.
  8. Data Management: Oversee the management of patient records and data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
  9. Communication: Serve as a liaison between medical staff, department heads, and external parties, such as insurance companies and regulatory bodies.
  10. Facility Management: Ensure that the physical infrastructure and equipment of the facility are maintained and updated as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in healthcare administration or management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and ethics.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
