Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing surgical procedures or those with various medical conditions. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and ensure the highest quality of care throughout a patient's stay. The candidate should have strong clinical skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' conditions and collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans  
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician  
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatment and modify care plans as necessary  
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and self-management techniques  
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records  
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care  
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families

Qualifications:

- Current unrestricted RN license  
- BLS certification  
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred  
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills  
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities  
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment  
- Good organizational and time management skills  
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care
